Water Penetration Testing

Protect Your Roof

Proven Performance

Our ShingleTek Technology

ShingleTek Advanced Resin Technology is independently tested to improve your shingles’ resistance to water penetration by 80%

Here at ShingleTek, we have seen our rejuvenating advanced resin technology restore even the most abused roofs. From years of harsh weather to blasts from a high-pressure power washer, there is nothing that gets under shingles once sealed with our proprietary ShingleTek Sealer!

To prove our product and measure the limits of ShingleTek Advanced Resin Technology in an independent laboratory, we partnered with PRI Construction Materials Technologies to submit our product to the ultimate in stress testing.

Proven to Increase Resistance to Water Penetration

Whether applied to brand-new shingles or to 20 year old shingles, ShingleTek Advanced Resin Technology adds resistance to water penetration. That is key for stopping leaks!

The team at PRI weighed shingles before and after simulating rainfall on the shingles.

Rather than absorb water, shingles treated with our product shed the water instead – not gaining weight like untreated shingles and not risking the degradation that moisture can cause to building materials.

Outstanding Performance in Old Shingles

We weren’t satisfied to test our rejuvenating resin technology on just brand new asphalt shingles. We wanted a good representation of the “worst case scenario” where we applied our rejuvenating resin technology to asphalt shingles on their last leg of life. Your typical asphalt shingle lasts 10-15 years, so the laboratory experts applied our ShingleTek Advanced Resin Technology to thoroughly beat 20 year old shingles.

The results were outstanding, with the treated shingles being able to resist water penetration 80% better than the untreated shingles!

Simply put, our product adds an additional layer of protection and water-resistance to even the most harshly worn roofing materials.
